Rocky Hill Middle School Writers Corner After School Club Website

Welcome to the official website for Rocky Hill Middle School's Writers Corner after school club. We hope that you enjoy reading and seeing some of the highlited drawings, stories, and poems from our groups' members. We always appreciate your comments and suggestions. Our meetings are always fun, and we have some very talented students who are part of Writers Corner. Our culminating publication is our Creative Magazine, Imagine, featuring all the hard working students' interesting and creative pieces.

Please pardon any unfinished content-we are still working to make the WCMA as user-friendly as possible.

Thank you for your interest in ordering Imagine Magazine. The magazine will be availible at the end of each school year in the spring. At that time, you may use the order form provided below to order your copy of Imagine. Just click the link to download the order form. Once downloaded, please print a copy, complete it, and enclose your payment of $4 in cash or a check made payable to Rocky Hill Middle School. If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Holmberg or send an email to the webmasters.

Above is a photo of the cover of the latest edition of our club's Creative Magazine. This edition was a "showcase" of our work from the 2004-2005 school year. The artist, Woori Bong, was in seventh grade at the time when she designed our cover. The cover was drawn using pastels.

Our meetings are held on select Thursdays during the school year. We have snacks before we begin working, and afterwards, we work on stories, poems, pictures, or other interesting creations until 4:15, when members can either take the Activity Bus Home or ride home with a parent or family member.

To the left is a photo of the new Rocky Hill Building. The old building is currently under construction and is going to become the new Clarksburg High School in a few years. The new schools first year was this past 2004-2005 school year.
